Additional links and resources to help with your application
- SA E-learning Strategy - this website provides detail about the VET e-learning strategy in SA (Hint: it would be good to show where your project fits into this strategy).
- Do some research on the Profile Search page to search for previous Innovations projects in your own sector or industry area. Also check out the 'Final Word' forum where last year's SA teams talk about the journey and outcomes of their 2009 Innovations projects.(Hint: don't just replicate what somebody has already done without showing where you have learned from their experiences and/or are linking with them.)
- Read articles drawn from previous projects:
E-learning is good for business

E-learning is good for communities
http://www.flexiblelearning.net.au/content/e-learning-good-communities
E-learning is good for learners
http://www.flexiblelearning.net.au/content/e-learning-good-learners
E-learning is good for training organisations
http://www.flexiblelearning.net.au/content/e-learning-good-training-organisations
- Toolbox site - this is where you will find heaps of ready-made content. (Hint: Don't apply for funds to re-create what is already here. And if you are using any of the learning objects within your project, then explain how)
- E-learning Innovations Toolkit - resources you will need if you are planning on creating a product i.e. website, CD etc. (Hint: all projects receive assistance with the use of this toolkit but it would be good to indicate that you are aware of needing to meet the necessary e-standards.)
- Designing e-learning - a useful website to assist with the design of e-learning (Hint: Check out the 'Types of e-Learning' under Tour 1 - it is highly recommended that you identify which type you will be using...and why.)
- Framework Resource Centre - a place to find many useful resources (Hint: would be great if you could show how any of these are incorporated into your project)
- Practical Guide to e-learning for Industry - includes a guided tour for anyone in business (Hint: For anyone from business/industry, becoming familiar with this site is a must. Good to mention how you can use it in your project.)

More for the list
Great list Marlene.
Although they're a bit old, I think you'll find that the videos we created at the end of 2008 contain information that might still be relevant to RTOs wanting to get into E-learning Innovations in 2010.

Hope this is useful - looking forward to seeing another cohort of great teams from SA in 2010.

Thanks for the extra links!
Excellent Rose....I actually just forgot to add the link to the video so thanks for putting this in. It will be a valuable resource for anyone trying to find out what has been done before, and 'who has done what'. Much appreciated,
Marlene
