Northern Territory Framework

The Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework) provides the vocational education and training (VET) system with essential e-learning infrastructure and expertise needed to respond to the challenges of a modern economy and the training needs of Australian businesses and workers. 2011 NT E-learning Innovations funding

Registered training organisations (RTOs) in the Northern Territory will soon be able to apply for a share in $118,500 in E-learning Innovations funding and support to implement innovative e-learning solutions for businesses and individuals, tailored to local priorities.

This funding opportunity will be available from 30 August 2010, reflecting the shift to a financial year Framework funding cycle.

Funding timelines, information, guidelines and application processes will vary in each state and territory, and information will be available from this webpage once the funding process opens.

The NT E-learning activity now has it's own Elluminate room for running online professional development for NT practitioners and businesses.

E-nabling NT 2010 Showcase 

The NT will be showcasing how technology + relevant + fun = engagement through the NT e-learning Innovations projects and other guest presenters at it's annual end of year event.

Please mark out the 10 November 2010 in your diaries. Further information including a draft program will be available over the coming month.

Online Sessions:

All sessions marked with an * are being conducted in the NT Online Training Room.

Face to Face:

There are two full day face to face workshops being held on the 16 and 17 August around 'Designing e-learning'. These workshops will require registration once all details are formalised. We are taking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for attendance at this stage. To submit your EOI please complete the short form at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/SH3H3BV.

Successful E-learning Innovations projects announced

$237,000 has been awarded to develop and manage eight projects that will deliver innovative e-learning training solutions in the Northern Territory in 2010.

In 2008 and 2009 the Northern Territory(NT) was allocated funding for E-learning Innovations projects that assist RTOs to embed e-learning as a key aspect of their business strategy.

E-learning Xposed '09

E-LEARNING XPOSED '09 was a huge success, this one-day e-learning conference showcased innovative and leading edge e-learning approaches from across the entire Northern Territory Vocational Education (VET) community, and beyond.

Presentations and other media will be uploaded to the E-learning Xposed '09 website over the coming weeks! Check back regularly for updates.

Was held from the 19 October to the 24 October. This mobile event aimed to inspire and inform by showcasing technology for teaching and learning.
