2011 NSW E-learning Innovations funding

 

Registered training organisations (RTOs) in NSW can now apply for a share in $714,200 in E-learning Innovations funding and support to implement innovative e-learning solutions for businesses and individuals, tailored to local priorities.

 

E-learning Innovations funding timelines, information, guidelines and application processes vary in every state and territory. Read the NSW 2011 E-learning Innovations Guidelines for Applicants for information on how to apply for funding in NSW.

 

To assist you in applying for funding, a series of public information sessions  will be held at various locations.  Please click on NSW Information Sessions for more information.

 

Applications can be made from 24 August 2010 using the application form . Applications close on 5:00 PM AEST on 28 September 2010

elearning2010 - sustaining e-learning Conference

Call for presenters now open

This is the NSW Framework annual conference which attracts up to 280 participants and is aimed at both practitioners and VET Managers interested in e-learning practice.

2010 E-learning Innovations Projects are well underway

$1,428,400 has been awarded to develop and manage 33 projects that will deliver innovative e-learning training solutions in New South Wales in 2010.

The 'Toolbox Champions' is a service to assist Private RTO's, Industry bodies, TAFE, ACE and Schools in VET in the successful implementation of Flexible Learning Toolboxes. Funded by the Flexible Learning Toolboxes Project under the Australian Flexible Learning Framework, the Champions are the "face" of Toolboxes in their state or territory.

 

What can the Toolbox Champions do for you?

 *  Organise and conduct professional development activities.

 *  Mentor teams wishing to implement Toolboxes.

 *  Provide advice about using the Toolboxes.

 *  Disseminate information and broker other types of support (eg. customisation).

Melanie Doriean is the NSW E-learning Coordinator for the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. Gail Smith

This role manages the 1.4 million dollars allocated to the NSW E-learning Innovations business activity.  This role also administers the funding process and provides support and mentoring services for Innovations Projects.

 

Gail facilitates a Framework Project Group that provides information on past and present project teams; project management tips; and offers assistance and strategies to help you embed e-learning into your everyday work practices.  This group is available for all to join however you will need to register with the Framework website and sign in to get access to this information.

Do you need to develop skills in e-learning facilitation?

The NSW Team have produced a handy resource in Moodle to assist you to develop your e-learning facilitation skills.  This resources will link you to a multitude of Framework resources, third party resources and YouTube videos.  Using the resource is free however you will need to login with guest access and an enrolment key.  The enrolment key is the word facilitate.
