Regional Businesses Programs

The Regional Businesses Programs funding opportunity is targeted at partnerships between regional, rural or remotely located businesses and RTOs to develop and deliver e-learning initiatives that respond to local needs.

The outcome of these regional business-led initiatives is a more skilled and highly developed workforce for regional Australia. Other expected outcomes include:

• For employers - e-learning methods will improve responsiveness of training to business needs, improve access to training, reduce time lost through staff release for training
• For regions - help sustain regional operations
• For learners - improved access to training, attainment of skills and improved employment status
• For RTOs - improved capacity to conduct training using e-learning
• For states and territories - support of training priorities through e-learning strategies
