App-titude iPad workshops - iBasics, iManage and iEducate
The iPad is a revolutionary device which is changing the way we interact with our world. The potential for managers and educators is being actively explored around the globe.
App-titude is a series (iBasics, iManage and iEducate) of FREE hands-on workshops for vocational education and training practitioners, hosted by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. The workshops will explore ways to enhance productivity and effectiveness in public and private registered training organisations by building skills in using iPads.

The national training system’s e-learning strategy, the Australian Flexible Learning Framework is proud to present a new series of FREE 25 workshops focusing on m-learning, e-assessment, blended delivery, evaulating e-learning and designing ebooks for vocational education and training practitioners throughout Queensland.
For RTO/TAFE staff: Please select the workshop(s) below you will be attending. Spaces are limited to around 20 people per workshop so please check your availability before registering for a space. Registrations are currently open for all workshops.
Session times: All sessions are from 9.00am to 3.00pm What to bring: Laptops and/or tablet/mobile devices. WIFI will be available, however 3G is desirable. Morning tea and lunch will be provided and participants will also receive a Certificate of Participation.

Synopsis:
mLearning: Mobile learning is now
Access to content for learners is increasingly mobile in nature and the same is happening to online learning content. This workshop will give you some practical strategies and tools for mobile learning.
eAssessment: Tools and Strategies
Online content is often the focus of elearning delivery with online assessment put in the 'too hard' basket. Put your assessment strategies to the test in this workshop that will explore best practice, assessment tools and new trends.
Moving Online: Blended Delivery
This workshops will help you explore and plan what is best kept 'off-line', what works well 'on-line' and everything in between. If your in a planning and design phase for your elearning, this is definitely a day for you and you're team.
Evaluating e-learning: Is it working?
In the busy life of instructional designers and trainers, rarely do we take the important time to stop and reflect on our elearning practice. This day will give you tools and methods to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of your online delivery.
ebooks: Developing and design
The 2011 Horizon Report identifies ebooks as one of the fastest emerging technologies for teaching and learning in the elearning space. This day will include information on the history and future direction of the ebook and give your practical demonstration on how to create your own dynamic texts for learners.
