National Aboriginal Islander Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) week is a way of celebrating and promoting a greater understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and our culture. From Alice Springs to Adelaide, Canberra to Cairns or from Brisbane to Broome, communities throughout the country come together to celebrate the survival of Aboriginal peoples, the continuation of Aboriginal culture and to also demonstrate the contribution that Indigenous Australians have made to our nation.

Keynote speakers will address the following topics: What is the one thing we should do to increase student engagement and success on our campus? Diversity and the student experience: targeting specific student needs in a multi-sector university; and Taking the distance out of off-campus learning.

The QUESTnet conference is an annual event aimed at network technologists and those ICT professionals who work closely with network technology. A key focus of the event is to provide an opportunity for delegates to develop their professional and technical knowledge and gain an appreciation of the key strategic issues for network development. This year's conference theme is Leveraging our Investment.
