To ensure that VET practitioners can continue to share knowledge and expertise about e-learning, this activity area will support and sponsor online events and communities of practice across the national training sector. An e-journal of learning innovation will be published to enable the sharing of knowledge and practice

Edition 16 will be released on Monday 28 July, highlights include:
  • Barb McPherson of River Murray Training has written the lead article on workplace training for businesses that addresses the need, in this digital age, for skilled, adaptable and innovative employees
  • Richard Matheson of the Australian Stainless Steel Development Association writes about the development of an e-learning module on welding for the stainless steel industry, and examines the benefits, issues and challenges within an industry where the use of stainless steel in Australia has doubled over the last 12 years
  • A series of interviews giving a range of experiences and perspectives on RTO/business partnerships in developing e-learning for workforce development
  • A vodcast of presentations from the VISTA (Association of VET professionals) conference of 18 - 20 May 2008.
