New Practices in Flexible Learning 2005

Objectives

The objective of New Practices in Flexible Learning is to stimulate providers to implement innovative practices with a focus on e-learning, e-business, online student support and self-service.

Outputs

In 2005, New Practices in Flexible Learning will fund projects that increase provider and vocational education and training (VET) practitioner capability to provide sustainable innovation across the spectrum of training delivery activities and support services, including e-learning, e-business, teaching, assessment, business process, collaboration and integration with other educational sectors.

The New Practices in Flexible Learning Project will contribute to:

  • increased provider capability to provide training delivery and support service innovation for improved flexibility, quality, productivity and client satisfaction
  • positive attitudes to e-learning by VET leaders in organisations undertaking a New Practices in Flexible Learning Project
  • a range of available e-learning solutions and options
  • improved satisfaction of clients through solutions to their e-learning requirements
  • changed attitudes to innovative e-learning opportunities and solutions.

New Practices in Flexible Learning 2005 Project presentations

On 1 December 2005, the projects listed above shared about the various new practices developed to both an online and face-to-face audience. A copy of the online sessions are available from the Learning Times web site. Users will need a Learning Times login and Elluminate software to listen to these sessions.

Due to the file sizes, it is recommended that a broadband connection be utilised to access these materials; which will be available until 30 November 2006.
