Key Tasks

  • Develop draft standards for auditing of online programs
  • Conduct national consultation and gather feedback on draft standards. The key contact person in each state will be provided with points of consultation and the team will seek written feedback and interview data as appropriate
  • Develop evidence guide to support standards
  • Consult with state agencies and auditors to identify existing professional development resources and develop guidelines for production of suitable models
  • Develop background notes to support the guidelines
  • Validate guidelines (including focus groups)
  • Trial professional development tools and materials with at least one auditor in each state. The state contact people will be asked to nominate the trial participants. Focus groups will be used in at least two states to ensure a wide coverage of auditing contexts
  • Revise tools and resources in the light of feedback from trial participants.
  • Consult with stakeholders to identify the most appropriate strategies for disseminating project outputs. It is anticipated the primary location will be the FLAG website, but links to and through other networks will be examined. Each state has established a quality assurance process as part of implementation of the AQTF. These networks will be consulted with to identify the best approach to encouraging uptake.
