Three new trials have been awarded a total of $45,000 to explore key emerging technologies for vocational education and training (VET).
Funded and supported by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework) and led by registered training organisations (RTOs), the trials will help the VET system to adopt and use new technologies by highlighting their benefits, risks and future development needs.

Four new industry sectors, in partnership with a registered training organisation (RTO), have been awarded a share of $200,000 funding to embed e-learning in industry.
The one-off funding from the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework) will support the following industry sectors to integrate e-learning into workforce development between November 2010 and June 2011*:

$129,600 has been awarded for the development of five projects that will deliver innovative e-learning solutions in line with key ACT training priorities.
The Australian Flexible Learning Framework has awarded $556,950 to develop and manage 21 projects that will deliver innovative e-learning training solutions in Victoria in 2011. Project funding and support has been awarded to RTOs based on their ability to either:
