How much support do workplace learners need to effectively learn online and progress through long-term study?
Wide Bay Institute of TAFE used their 2008 Queensland E-learning Innovations funding and support to discuss this issue with industry, employers and learners, and develop a program which provided exactly the right level of learner workplace support.
Innovative e-learning projects around the country are helping to give frontline health and community services staff the vital skills they need to take care of their patients.
Using new technologies, such as virtual campuses and webconferencing, these projects are tackling the serious issues of geographic isolation and the demand for more skills for health professionals and carers.
