A series of presentations on the e-assessment guidelines for the vocational education and training (VET) sector is taking place in all states and territories.

LORN – the resource repository for the vocational education and training sector (VET) – is being decommissioned.
VET practitioners will be able to access and download learning objects from the LORN website – flexiblelearning.net.au/lorn – until 30 August 2011.

The e-Gems session on 28 June concludes a series of ‘lunch and learn - free industry online sessions’. Targeted at business and industry, the sessions have explored how to develop the workforce with e-learning.

The Australian Government and state and territory ministers have approved funding to implement the national training system’s e-learning strategy, the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework) for January–June 2011.

Industry sectors, in partnership with a registered training organisation (RTO), can now apply for Industry Integration of E-learning funding of either $50,000 or $75,000 to embed e-learning.
