LORN – the resource repository for the vocational education and training sector (VET) – is being decommissioned.

VET practitioners will be able to access and download learning objects from the LORN website – flexiblelearning.net.au/lorn – until 30 August 2011.

This page has a collection of resources in a range of formats that will demonstrate approaches and techniques for discovering, customising and deploying Toolbox and LORN resources. It is worth noting that these are techniques and approaches can be used with any webpage based resource and so have much wider application that Toolboxes.

Flexible Learning Toolboxes (Toolboxes) are a great way for teachers, trainers and employers to get started in e-learning. While research has shown that 90% of vocational education and training (VET) learners would like at least ‘a little’ e-learning in their course, creating online content that is standards compliant and tailored to learner needs is not always easy.
