Investment in the National Vocational Education and Training E-learning Strategy for 2012-2015 will stimulate innovative approaches to increasing participation in training and improve the skill levels of the Australian workforce.
Funding of $11.5m has been approved for the Strategy in 2011/12 by the Ministerial Council on Tertiary Education and Training for programs:

Newly arrived migrants have participated in an e-learning project that provided them with a method to record their learning and employment experiences.
The project which was conducted by AMES (Adult Multicultural Education Services) piloted the use of e-portfolios by adult Cultural and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) learners.

A virtual beach and club house is advancing the skills of essential volunteers across the Western Australian coastline.
Three FREE workshops are available to Queensland managers and educators to demonstrate the use of the iPad in education and training.
They form part of the App-titude series of hands-on workshops, aimed at exploring ways to build skills in using iPads to enhance productivity and effectiveness in registered training organisations.
This project allowed me to expand my knowledge and experience with Moodle including the use of a new page format. I enjoy design so presenting a course that is visually appealing and inspiring for learners was fun, allowing me to approach the design in a way that was clear, simple and accessible.
