Investment in the National Vocational Education and Training E-learning Strategy for 2012-2015 will stimulate innovative approaches to increasing participation in training and improve the skill levels of the Australian workforce.
Funding of $11.5m has been approved for the Strategy in 2011/12 by the Ministerial Council on Tertiary Education and Training for programs:
The ageing of Australia’s population will call for the provision of aged care services to much larger numbers of people over the next few decades.
Our goal is to develop an Blended delivery model which will help to overcome common barriers to e-learning. We have introduced e-learning into our Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Course. If graduates of this course could be employed at YNH Services we would eventually develop a pool of e-learning enabled Tutors who would be equipped to pass these skills on to others and so embed a culture of e-learning in our organisation.

E-nabling NT will inspire you to give e-learning a go! Come along to see how e-learning is supporting learners and industry to access training opportunities, and training organisations to provide more relevant and flexible training in the Northern Territory.
