Description
This Toolbox supports three units from the Diploma of Training and Assessment.
These units can be used as chosen elective/s in either the Certificate IV or the Diploma qualifications. They are also an excellent starting point as professional development for any VET trainer or assessor who would like to develop their skills as an e-learning facilitator and/or designer of e-learning resources.
The unit TAADEL501A focuses on the skills of effective facilitation in an e-learning environment. Content and supporting resources are provided to support the required outcomes for this unit, and interactive activities such as 'live' chat moderation.
Units TAADES503A and TAADES504A take you through the process of designing and developing an e-learning resource, from initial idea through to design concept, prototype and finished product. Learners are presented with a project for each unit in which they have the opportunity to use the content and resources in the Toolbox to work on the design and development of their own e-learning resource.
This Toolbox is based on Optimal Learning Solutions (OLS), a fictitious RTO providing training and assessment services to a range of government, private and industry organisations. It is designed to compliment the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Toolbox (607) which is also based on OLS.
The Training and Assessment RPL Guide
The Training and Assessment RPL Guide is designed to complement the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (607) Toolbox. A great tool for training organisation involved in Training and Assessment delivery with staff that need to upgrade to the new Training and Assessment qualification.
